SSC - I, II ( XI & XII Class )

Eligibility:

    SSC - I ( First year of Plus two ):

The students who have passed any of the following examinations are eligible for admission to 10+1 class of 10+2 course.

  1. Matriculation examination of  School Education Board of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh or of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or other examination recognised by Punjab School Education Board as equivalent there to.

  2. Higher Secondary Part I examination  of  School Education Board of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh or any examination which has been recognized as equivalent to the Matriculation Examination, by Punjab School Education Board.

  3. A student having Compartment in Matric of P.S.E.B. or C.B.S.E.affiliated school in Punjab can be admitted to 10 + 1 class provisionally.

 

    SSC - II( Second year of Plus two ):

The students who have passed any of the following examinations are eligible for admission to 10+2 class.

  1. 10 + 1 Examination of  School Education Board of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh or of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or other examination recognized by Punjab School Education Board as equivalent there to.

  2. Pre - University Examination of Punjabi University, Patiala / Panjab University, Chandigarh / Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar or other examination recognised by Punjab School Education Board as equivalent there to.

 

Combination of Subjects:

For SSC I & II ( First and second year of Plus  Two Stage ):

( Common for Science / Commerce / Humanities )

  • General English
  • General Punjabi

In addition of these a candidate will take one of the following groups:

Science Group:

      Medical

  Non - Medical
  • Physics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
  • Maths

Humanities Group:

The student will take THREE  of the following elective subjects:

  • Political Science
  • Economics
  • History 
  • Hindi
  • Physical Education
  • Mathematics
  • Computers

Note:  Students opting for computers will have to take either Economics or Maths or both.

Commerce Group:

                 Class XI                   Class XII
  • Theory & practice of Commerce
  • Theory & practice of Management
  • Accountancy
  • Accountancy
  • Business Mathematics
  • Economics
  • Store keeping & Purchasing
  • Business Statistics
